Energym is a fusion between a traditional gym and a boutique studio. The first gym in Latin America to incorporate PRAMA technology in order to offer fun, high intensity training opened their second PRAMA in 2019 to help them consolidate their position as a market leader.

THE RESULT
The best gym in the country
Despite being “recent arrivals” to a gym market in which the big players were already established, Energym have managed to position themselves as the best in the country. Their title as the first gym in Costa Rica, and indeed the region, to implement PRAMA has brought with it a significant media storm.
It’s incredibly important to have a good strategy from the outset. Energym marked the launch of the newest PRAMA by holding a huge event hosted by Daniel González, PRAMA Concept Development Manager, with more than 20 influencers and the biggest media and communication organisations in the country in attendance. In total, they invested more than $10,000 in marketing actions.
Energym currently employ three members of staff, responsible for PRAMA tours, customer service, and sales. They also collaborate with a market leader in digital sales.
The most similar club in the region has been open for 20 years and has around 1,500 members. Energym boasts around 800 members after less than two years, and their growth is continuing.

PRAMA Energym is a 70m2 environment with a completely innovative look and feel, controlled by technology that mixes lights, music, and three-dimensional exercises to offer a unique experience.

All types of people attend Energym, regardless of age, gender, or physical condition. The success of PRAMA is evident in class attendance: full classes of 16 people during busy hours. The majority of attendees are young people (22-35 years old), mostly women that live within 15 minutes drive of the club. Energym is in an unbeatable location.
Energym’s most powerful services are private and corporate events that ensure part of their growth. Fun group exercise sessions with PRAMA give the gym something different to offer, and are a seeing great success. Trainers are responsible for creating their own variety of sessions to ensure that attendees enjoy each and every class without them feeling repetitive.
